New Diy Flavours In Stock

Hey all, some new flavours have arrived!

I didn't realise at the time of ordering but the flavours marked with *** contain acetoin and acetyl propionyl. You can read a bit more about these chemicals here. http://valleyvapour.co.za/custard-flavours/ Initially I didn't intend to stock any flavours with the chemicals mentioned above but they were ordered on request.

There seem to be mixed thought as to whether trace amounts are dangerous or not. I would appreciate some feedback from you guys Do you think I should keep them in stock with a warning, and let the customer make the choice, or take them off completely?

I'm still working my way through the 13 concentrates I got a few weeks ago. Expect another order around payday

Sorry That's another one with the custard chemicals... still waiting on a bit of feedback from the forum because if people don't mind then I will bring in the flavours like white chocolate, dulche de leche, vanilla custard etc...

I have been reading up on the effects Diacetyl can cause from inhaling it for a period of time and wouldn't suggest vaping it.

They don't contain diacetyl itself, that a definite no no. They contain acetoin and acetyl propionyl which can under circumstances metabolize into trace amounts of diacetyl.

Oh ok i read a bit about acetoin and acetyl propionyl,
some people think its ok if you dont use it for long periods of time , other alternate days that they use it and other say that because of the diacetyl (even though its very little) that it should not be used.

Whats your thoughts @drew?

My thoughts... It's a dilemma. On one hand there is info saying that diacetyl in trace amounts is harmless and on the other saying that diacetyl even in trace amounts should be avoided. With so many manufacturers using these flavours as part of their standard line up, I'm not sure what to believe.

Can not be close as bad as tobacco? Check out this post and the one following. Sorry, no more popcorn for any of you peeps.

Not at all. As a reseller one can never be too cautious when it comes to these matters. And multiple covering of the same stuff is the nature of any forum.
