Hana Dna 30 Clones - Anyone Interested At +- R950?

After seeing the interest in the "New E-Cig Product Watch" thread I emailed a friend in China to see what he could get the Hana (V3 not Mini) clones at. He indicated +- R980 but then I got to take 5+

Shipping to my place will be via speed courier so it should be here in Gauteng a week after the factory starts shipping at the beginning of May.

It may be worthwhile to get some Sony VTC4 or other high drain batteries as well ..

Anyone interested?

Good question, I am awaiting more details. From what I've experienced with the Chinese I would assume its from the same factory the standard DNA 30's come from, just from the conveyor that goes out the back door...

Just to be clear I am only gauging interest atm, exact price etc must be confirmed.

Ok looks like there is interest in these, I'll see what extra info I can get. If anyone else is interested please mention it here and I will contact you to confirm when all looks legit.

@eviltoy No idea, I do know that small production runs are rarely done in the western world nowadays because of the cost associated with it.

Sorry for the delay in getting back, was a busy day at the office.

Unfortunately I don't have much in the way of positive feedback either. My contact has no stock himself, which in itself is not so odd, but apparently nobody has stock or has even seen these items. I asked him to search for some reviews or literature on the Chinese interwebs but he could find nothing more than what is generally available on the net at the moment. He assures me its legit however and was able to verify pricing and specs very quickly so somebody is running with this over there.

That somebody I suspect is Cloupor, an atomizer manufacturer whose products some of you may recognise from local vendor's websites.

All this may just be a clever marketing ploy to gain hype but at this point my gut tells me to err on the side of caution until more concrete information surfaces. I think there is actually such a product but either delivery time lines may be greatly overstated or quality may be of concern ...

The only thing about the DB mod is that it takes a long time to make but its an awesome mod.

I've had confirmation that the DNA 30 clones are still set for release around month end. Also got some photos of the empty mods, pre-build, so it definitely looks more positive. I placed the deposit .. let's see what happens.

I guess the main thing a variable wattage mod offer is versatility. At 30w you could vape with practically any carto/clearo/rebuildable on the market.
I have a Innokin VTR at the moment and find that the dual top coil clearos work best at 10w whilst the bottom coils like it a bit hotter at 13w. Now depending on what juice you have a +/- 1 watt adjustment will also change the flavour and heat of the vapour and that variability makes it attractive to me.
Once you hit the higher wattages, very low ohms and even sub ohm vaping becomes a viable option opening the door to custom coil building etc..
Lastly the ability to swap and charge the batteries separate from the mod means that replacing and planning battery use becomes much easier and the mod doesn't expire with the battery. This one apparently also comes with a built in charger.

What makes this clone interesting is the price point. Commercial 30w electronic mods are very rare and limited to an electronic chip manufactured/wholesaled by a company called Evolv in almost all cases. The Hana mod this clone is based on costs $250+ afaik ...

The original dna29 and dna39 chips are made by a company called evolv technology or something. The clones have what they call a cloned dna30 chip. My only issue with buying a dna30 clone is how good are they? I say let them run for a while do some research on youtube and forums etc and take it from there.
