Ok so I've gone ahead and done the stupidest thing possibly imaginable. Yes you've guessed it, I flushed the insulator of my Kayfun down the drain.

This happened during a cleaning session and I've already removed and inspected the drain pipe, it's not to be found.

This is the little son of a gun I'm talking about.

Does anybody know of a way to source these locally? Internationally I think DashVapes in Canada is my best option. I've sent them a message so they'll respond with a shipping quote soon I hope. Here's the link.

Please let me know if you guys have an old or broken Kayfun lying around that I could buy. Lite Plus, 3.1 or Russian 91% insulators should fit.

@Reinvanhardt I've got a brand new KF clone, never used - you welcome to take it at half price as I will never use it.

Dude, PM me now.

Sorry to hear dude try this see post #8

Basically cut an old credit card to use as a insulator. If you in a pickle. Just double and triple check for shorts.

Sounds plausible but ja use at your own risk!

Problem solved! Dilema deleted!

@johan and @TylerD for the win! Both of them sprung to help within seconds of posting this thread.

Thank you guys! :)

Is it? Could it be? It certainly could be... Actually I'm sure it is....

It is indeed! A group Hug!

My insulator also looks damaged, but at least Kayfun is working fine. I think I used too much force when tightening the centre post. Also read about the Credit Card solution, but would like to get some spare insulators for the Kayfun, so if anybody knows of a local supplier I'd be grateful.

One of mine has also been through its paces. It looks identical to yours.

guys , i got given a old rocket sometime ago and had to rebuild the insulators as they were all perished , i used some of that fast drying 2 component quickset glue . basically blocked up the hole , made a well with prestik and poured the glue in and then once it was semi dry popped it out of the hole and re drilled the center pin hole . all done .

Happy days, my Kayfun clone's 510 connecter threading just gave up the ghost completely. It seems the threads were quite thin at the edges and stripped off. Luckily I have my ERA rda whith me. Anyone know of a way to fix this?

The only interim temporary solution I can think of is to get some very thin conductive wire (<0.5mm diameter) and wrap it around the KF's 510 connector.

I had a feeling that may be the case :(

EDIT: I could not find any suitable wire and ended up using a thin strip of heavy duty tin foil. It seesm to be holding for now.
