I was a cigarette smoker since the age of 12. To be honest, I had my years of cessation, from between: 1 year, 2 years and 5 years. I was also and exclusive tobacco pipe smoker for 4 years. I always returned to the cursed cigarettes. I smoked cigarettes until New Years Eve 2015.
Now I am a converted “vapour man”. Back track to 2008, I bought my first e cigarette: a flimsy little Twisp imitation cigarette look alike. It broke in 2 weeks. I was totally put off vaping.
Fast forward to 31 Jan 2015, I hastily bought the Twisp Aero, only because Twisp had a kiosk in my local shopping mall. Less than a week later, I learned on the internet after hours of Googling vaping, that there is a massive array of highly powerful and sophisticated vaping gear out there. My first decent purchase was an ELeaf iStick: TC 60W and a Melo 2 atomiser, as well as an RDA “Fishbone.” After building my first coil and wicking my RDA, I am completely sold on this “new” venture.
Besides thoroughly enjoying vaping, and interacting with others on this forum, my goal is to try to contribute towards revolutionising South Africa by informing other cigarette smokers that cigarettes are really a thing of the past. "Cigarettes kill, and vaping is the future – today!"
My advice to smokers is: look around carefully before you jump into any purchase. Read this proudly South African website and join. Then make the switch. You won’t look back.
