Thought I would give everyone a heads up on a new cellphone exploit/theft of your airtime.
You receive a call from a landline number (not hidden or anything),
The second you answer the call is dropped.
...seems pretty harmless right, maybe just a minor annoyance.
WARNING: If this happens to...
I'll try be a bit brief and to the point :)
....though I tend to not be
There is a good reason that your setup is referred to as a APV. (Advance PERSONALISED Vaporizer)
There is so much to alter, change, adjust and choose from.
Firstly: everyone has their own preference of flavor and I...
Vaping "CAN BE" cheaper than stinkies, if it is a means to an end.
i.e. using vaping just to stop stinkies.
If you become (Like us all) an enthusiast...it can cost a bit.
And we all went heavy in the start because it is new and exciting.
(Think about when you get a new phone....for...
Guys...Don't forget that your juice and nicotine strength make a HUGE difference between resistances and airflow.
I have felt absolutely horrid a few times that I've let people try my setup.
They cough their lungs out till red in the face and crying :(
I believe @Stroodlepuff said she did her own rooibos extraction.
Opened a few tea bags and dumped the shredded leaves into PG (I'm sure VG would work too, but not as well??)
Shake it up, add a little heat even and leave for a few days.
Once there is a good aroma/smell to the mixture, strain...
For interest: That is 4 strands of 29g
take 2 - twist 'em, double them over and twist again.
As a recommendation, you should thoroughly clean your hands and the wire before working with it though.
Otherwise (like me) you get an "earthy" taste to the coils :-(
Most people swear by Sunlight...
P.S. Xcube 2 with 2x 25R's you could basically push 30 amps constant firing without a problem.
Small calculations:
2x Samsung 25R
.25 Ohms @ 200watts = 28.28 amps (unless I am mistaken)
And you most likely are never going to fire longer than 5 seconds or so at a time.
Well they all tie together with Ohms Law.
But yes...the biggy I would say, is definitely your amps.
Amps = The amount of drain.
More amps = more drain per second
Draining too much too quickly will overload a battery.
You can save this for reference on limitations:
Looking at the 25R...
And same drill?? ;):p
This is my very basic way of doing it.
Wires are secured into a plank of wood(That I stand on for tension) via a single wood screw.
The other ends are looped/wrapped over an Alan Key(Or any small + Strong pin) that is tightened into the chuck of the drill.
Then it's...
@jlw777 What battery do you currently have in your mod?
Depending on whether your batteries are in series or parallel will depend on the specifics.
But yes...2 batteries do give you more headroom to work with.
The chips do indeed make a difference (step-down / step-up / Pulse Width Modulation...
@Kylo Firstly....Like your name! :p (I am a Kyle too)
And yeah, it was part of a learning weekend that I was experimenting with twisted builds :D
Just need a cordless drill really and the rest comes with imagination.
Flying fish does indeed help - I can't get enough of the Lemon flavor...
@jlw777
The chart is based off of Ohms law.
However it doesn't take into consideration dual batteries.
(Or your battery + mod specs)
+-3.6-3.7v is your nominal discharge rate and should always produce a cool comfortable vape.
but it is not 100% necessary to stick to this.
I'm @ .23 Ohms...
That's the one!!!!
Them little buggers are a pain in the ass!
Depending on what phone you have and/or the backup setting of it, you may/should actually be able to retrieve those lost photos.
I know that most phones nowadays have automatic backups, but I turn it off to reduce the...
@brad511 I know about using a blowtorch, I just don't own one yet :p
The Ohms didn't jump as much as the physical coils did!!
They were all tightly packed, but the second I started pulsing they had a mind of their own, warping out of shape o_O
hahaha
Granted...the twisted wires were 3+...
