There are some panning shots in the videos (particularly Mike Vapes' footage) which indicate quite a large crowd. I have no idea how to estimate crowd sizes but I attended a school of about a thousand where we all used to gather for assembly and I'd say the rally crowd was probably double that...
I thought the turnout was decent considering it was nearly freezing and people are also reluctant to fly in to attend a four-hour event. If it had been a two-day expo, they would have attracted more people as it then becomes worthwhile to travel for it.
I'm not sure what was achieved, though...
Mike Vapes and Vaping Fagan's streams are still on their sites. I don't think any vids were removed, there is a natural lag between a live stream and YT processing it as an archived video on the streamer's site.
It was a complicated issue. Every statutory body has its role and responsibilities set out in the Act that governs it. So, for example, the SABS is governed by the terms of the Standards Act of 2008. Historically, the FDA had the power to regulate food and pharmaceuticals since 1906 when the...
This is why vaping is now classified as tobacco products. The FDA only had the power to block drug delivery devices back then. They seized a shipment of Njoy e-cigs claiming that they were "drug delivery devices" and Njoy argued in court that they weren't drug delivery devices but tobacco...
It seems she doesn't understand the FDA's role at all. If e-cigarettes were different from vaping and the latter didn't fall under the FDA's jurisdiction, why are vape products required to get PMTAs?
At a guess, it's a ploy by the Trump administration to try and regain ground lost with vaping...
You can only get two types of certification: systems (ISO 9001 etc) and product, which would typically be the SABS Mark. However, product certification would require compliance to a national or international standard - and there isn't one yet for juice.
It doesn't matter who vapers vote for, both parties in the US are anti-vaping and looking to ban or at least heavily restrict it. People will just do it illegally. It never held the marijuana industry back.
OK, a quick google on this didn't provide any definitive answers but I did find this article. The key excerpts:
So it seems that it isn't a consequence of any particular chemical but rather smoking's effect on the ability of cells to regenerate and replenish themselves.
I'd like to know what chemical(s) in smoke dull your sense of smell and taste. It can't be nicotine otherwise vapers would have the same dulled taste as smokers.
I think it's also possible that they used to make illicit THC juice differently. They were using ingredients that didn't make people sick. Then someone experimented with vit E acetate, it seemed to work, it was maybe cheap/easy to obtain, the word spread, and suddenly everybody is using it in...
Correct, @Adephi. And not just in the US either. In Britain, a Conservative in the House of Lords tried to get the TPD struck down, on the basis that the UK was leaving the EU and is therefore no longer subject to EU regs. The Labour Lords didn't even let it get to a vote. They told the...
He makes solid points although this is a facepalm moment:
Mmmm... no. Let's not peddle the myth that "it's just harmless water vapour". That hurts vaping rather than helping it because the lie is easily exposed and makes the speaker appear that he has something to hide. We have nothing to...
I was afraid of that, heh. I haven't found a coffee, let alone a Kahlua, that I'd be willing to use in a Don Pedro. So I mixed up an off-the-cuff whisky version using FW VBIC, WF Vanilla Cream Extra, Cap Vanilla Whipped Cream, Cap Sugar Cookie, FA Whisky, WS-23 and Cap SS. After overnight steep...
RF used to serve several sectors. They don't even mention vaping on their FB page:
I suspect they were in trouble before the flavoured juice bans. In July, they discontinued a bunch of flavours and also had a half-price warehouse sale. That's often indicative of a company in distress.
