Guys thanks for all the help! I've rebuilt some coils. So far so good. Coil building is definitely a steep learning curve.

These were the best I could get hopefully you can see the leads glowing in the one photo.

I just took the cotton out when the coils run perfect. Could the juice be cooling the coils down so it looks like the fire weird or is my wicking too tight?

@DaveH so basically whenever the cotton is overly saturated leaks will happen?

@DaveH apparently sealing the airflow holes when filling also helps. Any experience with that?

Thanks to all of you for such quick advice will definitely have a look at all the options you guys have suggested. Doesn't look like my local vape shop has the ceramic coils for the melo3 but I can order if need be.

Thanks for the quick reply. It doesn't look like the included tank has the feature to build your own coils. It just seems cheaper in the long run to build coils.
