I'm sure @Alex will post the bottom insulator filing process. Sorry dude, but that's what needs to happen, the screw at the bottom of your Kayfun needs to go in deeper to allow more room to screw in you atty. Some diy needed here. That's the problem with these clones. Am I right Alex?

Your prices are excellent! Well done! I'm very excited about the possible incoming rebuildables and mechanicals. Love the group buy format. Nothing of interest to me at the moment but will definitely be checking your site frequently. Best of luck!
Beautiful coiling @BhavZ. Way to go!
You know what I'm gonna ask next right. You know I need to know this. Who vapes better? Miss Aqua or Miss Kayfun? But take some time to perfect the Kayfun and find your sweet spot before you tell us.
Oh and if you ever get unexpected dry hits take a look at...
My mod gets a sunlight liquid toothbrush scrub about twice a week. I tried some Prepsol a few days back, but I think I used too much as it left some stains on my stainless steel Kayfun. Will definitely get some contact cleaner. Tlc goes a long way towards obtaining a great vape :)
Beautiful building there @Jean. 0.2mm kanthal is, how we generally refer to kanthal thickness, 32 awg. To get your resistance lower you need thicker kanthal.
6 wraps of 30g will give you roughly 2.1 ohms. Dual coil = 1.05 ohms.
10 wraps of 28g will give you roughly 2.2 ohms. Dual coil = 1.1 ohms.
So the beer downing competition's got two Reinhardt's, a Reinvanhardt, a Reindevddevhardt and a Devdev. Hahaha! Was this a mistake or done to promote drunkard behaviour?
The iTaste 134 should only be considered for aesthetics in my opinion as it's huge, hugely expensive, and limited to only 12.5 watts.
These regulated mods like the SVD are designed to shut down (not fire) when a problem with the coil occurs. That's essentially what makes "regulated". If you...
The SVD is a good option. It can fire from as low as 0.8 ohms but hitting diminished returns as the device is still limited to 15w. Around 1.2 ohms is a good finishing resistance on the SVD.
Another good option is the Vamo V5 from Vapour Mountain, highly recommended and you can pick up some...
Check it. This was still early days, definitely gonna try this again. I had too many issues with that particular Kayfun.

I don't remember the arm function but I do remember playing the old games like Dangerous Dave, Jill in the Jungle, One Must Fall, Prince of Persia etc. Was a great era!
OK so this coil is working ok, but not quite right. Quick recap: 28g Kanthal, 8 wraps around a 2.4mm drill bit with cotton wick. Comes out at 1.8?
That sounds about right. Using a thinner ID or lower gauge kanthal will get this down lower, even when using more wraps.
