If you build with thick wire and have a lot of wraps to get to 0.9, you can easily vape at 60w and even more, but if you use a very thin wire like 28g, 5 wraps will give you 0.9 Ohms and it will be a small coil. At 60w you will either burn the wick or melt the wire.
PINK Petri with 24g kanthal 3mm dual coils at .26 Ohm and she's not whistling any more, but chucking clouds at 70w. Got her just for fun and because I did not want to pay R80 for shipping two driptips. This is not for the office!
Got to this thread late, but really enjoyed the post by @Ezekiel . Very informative as usual.
The way I see it. When you cook a stew, you do not add the potatoes and carrots when adding the meat, (at least I hope you don't) you add them at different times through the cooking process. The end...
I agree on this point, and sure some clones are bad and some of them even worse than bad. Many of them being made under "difficult conditions" as mentioned in your previous post and also the reason why China has to bear this burden. When you buy a clone you know you are not getting the real...
Nice if you live nearby maybe. Ship it there and ship it back just to hear this was due to misuse or neglect and you could buy a brand new Ant. Even fixing the hexohm locally will cost less than shipping just for the sake of the guarantee. Lifetime guarantees mean nothing if it cannot be done...
2 x Leprechauns
1 x JB Mods wood squonker
1 x Squonking Ant with authentic Petri :( , but I might just take what they have now and "drip that thang". :)
I get where you are coming from, but I look at it differently. Local > Int = no-brainer. Keep the money in the country and help them through feedback release their own version ∞.
It is quite normal. This discrepancy gets bigger with bigger scales. Even when a scale reads in 0.01g it is not accurate to 0.01g. 500g scales can have a 0.05 - 0.08 discrepancy while 200g scales can have a 0.02 - 0.05 discrepancy etc. There are more accurate load cells available, but at a...
