Ok some feedback. I sent the Mod back to Sir Vape. They said they will source me a new board, but then disappeared. The last time they made contact with me again was on 15 May 2015. I sent them another 2 emails through 2015 and no replies. Not even, sorry, we are still looking, or anything...

I hereby apologise for my behaviour on the forum that might have caused harm towards @SirVape. I did not give all the details in my complaint and it made @SirVape look bad. I also thank @SirVape for the great customer service of still coming back to me and still trying to resolve the issue...

No. I don't expect them to replace it. All I really wanted from the beginning is to get the blown component replaced. I can't expect them to replace a used device. Sorry if I was misleading in the posts.

Mines screen just went dead randomly, I did this modifications that is in the video, after that it did the same and about a week later the screen went dead completely. Now the dealer wants to tell my it is rust and water that screwed it up. They saw the sand paper marks and now blames that...

@Mike by removing chrome from a free standing plate will not damage electronics. That I can really assure you.

The earthing marks is there because of the chrome that caused the non-conductivity and causing the battery to arc to try and find conductivity.
