Dual Clapton in the crius is not easy. I had to use 1.5 mm post to wrap on otherwise the coils touch the side of the tank. Even so it's still very close. I'm no sure how well this will work I'm not the best at this type of coil. Comes in at 0.34 ohms

Thanks for the kind words folks Vape King helped me out with a new glass for the crius. So I bought a zephyrus v2. ;) I also was reminded that the Crius does come with a replacement glass. So I'm all sorted.

Rob your post made me realize that I've messed the wicking and coils up. I tried to wrap a Clapton but could not get them to glow evenly so I used plain old kanthal with new wicks. I agree with you tank is much better. Thanks for helping out

As far as I can see on the website it's only the mini that has an up grade and yes you do need to have additional, hardware for the mini if you want to do offline upgrades otherwise you can just run the software http://www.koopor.com/news/koopor-firmware-upgrading-guide.shtml

There is as yet no firmware to upgrade too. The mod is pretty good though I'm loving mine with the dripper and sub ohm tanks
