Thanx for the concern Johan but it is not a problem for me. It won't be the first time for me modding a kayfun to make it work better. This is a minor irritation not an issue. For nou I wil just work the o ring a bit make it fit.

That doesn't work at all. The inner diameter of the o rings are much too small for the wider new chimney. Will have to open the o rings up with the dremmel or thin out the chimney so that all the spare orings from my 3.1 fits.

hmmm after some careful inspection the chimney is on the thickish side which crushes the poor top cap o ring much too much to my liking causing some air leaks and a flooding kayfun. no worries i will quickly fix that. will take a few photos and put it up on the modding side

Dropped my sx350 In a hana box with a kayfun ontop once. Hands was full and just as I got out the bakkie it slipped onto the paving and the kayfun split in 2. Only cosmetic damage and the plastic window on the kayfun just popped out and dit not even break and all works perfectly fine.

Lots of spookpis and drill very very slowly with new bits and you should be good. With stainless all you need is time and a cool drill bit

Try passing your drivers test again after 10 years to upgrade from B to EB with a offroad trailer in a big double cab with all the necessary steel adons. Reverse parking and the yard was n ***** but the driving on the road was a pleasure.
