6 ml a day, 12 nic. As soon as I go to 6 nic, the number doubles. So I stay on 12 nic, and happy with the consumption. 30 ml a day.......I also thought it was not possible.
What I would have given to get such great information like this when I started out...all in one write up.
Hope all the new guys take this advise to heart...
I played around a bit this morning and shaped the top end of my Nano tank on the lathe, it was always a bit square for me..... Or maybe I just got too use to the look of my Nauti mini.....
BUD the Cowboy
A cowboy named Bud was overseeing his herd in a remote mountainous pasture in Montanawhen suddenly a brand-new 2015 BMW advanced toward him out of a cloud of dust. The driver, a young man in a Brioni® suit, Gucci® shoes, RayBan® sunglasses and YSL® tie, leaned out the window and...
I agree. I have been building the twisp coils for SWAMBO for six months now, every 5 days I build her a fresh one, or do a dryburn and rewick if the coil is still okay.
30 guage, 7 wraps, 1.6mm ID = 1,8 oHm. 2mm silica wick, perfect....
When you use less cotton just make sure the ends are still snug against the sides (holes) where the juice enters, then it can not flood.
Also check which two holes the juice enters from, not all four holes are open directly, there is a little insert inside with two high points and two low...
I build them the vertical (original) way with 30 gauge to 1.8 Ohm. The amount of cotton is critical, and it is easier to wet them when wrapping although it is not a must.
They give great flavour and lasts me the same length of time (12-14 days) as the factory ones, 6ml a day, 70/30, vg/pg mix...
From my experience your obsevations is spot on....I get around 8 days out of the BVC (1.8 Ohm), 6ml a day usage.
You do have to look after your coil, if you like the largest airflow then you need to close down to the smallest hole now and again and take a few draws without firing just to wick...
