Well... the heat will change based on the airflow around the coil/wick so, I don't think this will be that useful... EDIT: Unless it can maintain a constant temperature by adjusting to the airflow, that would be something amazing.

Hydrogen Peroxide (aka Hydrogen Dioxide) decomposes to form water and oxygen so that's no reason to boil it. Though if you do boil your cotton I hear adding baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) may make it more absorbent.
