place the coil on a coiling rod or screwdriver that has a 3mm ID. grab both the end and stretch the coil. check on you tube " spaced coils"

Maybe try a spaced coil. you may have to remove a wrap. you mentioned a nano alien do you know what the specs are for the coil?

did you wash out the tank? sometimes there is machine oil and needs a quick bath in warm water.

what cotton are you using? try getting a couple of pads of Japanese cotton. its not the best cotton in the world but you can accurately cut out strip to determine what is the right amount to use. Once you get used to the pull of the cotton through the coil you will be able to use any cotton...

if it is the Geekvape mech, it uses magnets. make sure when you put the magnets back in, they of the same polarity ie they should be pushing against each other and not being attracted to each other. Those magnet can be quite tricky and can flip around very easily.
