Well I sent them the completed form together with THESE pics. So we shall see what they have to say. Best case scenario, new mod! Worst case scenario I'll have exactly what I have now :)
Rob, for the love of all things good and sacred, please tell me what the names are of those first 3 mods. Because your hand is the only place I've ever seen them. What is this sorcery!
Thanks for the info. These are the type of things I tend to Google. Thanks to you, I don't have to :)
I'm also using Vandy fused nichrome as well and it's flipping delicious!
That's why you shouldn't wick with that fluff you find hiding in your bellybutton after a long day :) #jks #lol
But on a serious note, there may be something else causing the taste you are getting, the likes of some old...

No luck from VooPoo just yet... Fast to sell, slow to support it seems :|
I tried cleaning the port today but still no luck. Might try a different OS as well.
A clamp deck on a dripper like the Goon is one thing because you have loads of space to work with, but those tiny clamps in a RTA... With my stubby fingers and two floating coils waiting to be tightened. I see myself hurling it down the street :P
This is true. The Bravo for instance looks fantastic and is REALLY well made, however the clamp-style deck put me off a little. They can be a las to build on. I agree that the Zeus Duall will probably perform as well as the normal Zeus, but with the added flexibility of being able to run single...
I have the OBS Engine as well as Blitzen RTA and it's honestly hard to select a winner. When wicked correctly they both perform great. Using the Blitzen at the moment just because its the new kid on the block, but I'm not entirely convinced that its better than my trusty Engine :)
Yes that's true, USB has 4x pins: 5V+, GND, and 2x COMM. So the 5V+ and GND are obviously fine, but I immediately wonder how just two of the pins are non-responsive? The general condition of the port is pretty good in my opinion.
The User Guide just states that it should have at least 1 bar of battery power and it should be plug and play. Sent a mail to support@voopootech.com now for some assistance. I tried everything the interwebs had to offer.
I checked Device Manager and did not see it showing up when plugging it in/out. I then also reviewed Drive Management to see if it was showing up as unpartitioned or with the incorrect drive letter, but no luck either. I then checked some online forums for general USB device recognition issues...
My VooPoo Drag charges fine via USB, i.e. the USB port is not busted, but I can for the life of me not get it to show up in the PC app in order to fiddle with the profiles and screens etc. I've tried reinstalling the software, connecting when off/on, connecting with/without batteries, connecting...
