Yeah they do have over charge protection, no worries charging overnight. You can also use a normal wall socket as it does have a dedicated charging chip that regulated the power while charging.
This is good to hear, I'm considering getting a goon 24 clone before I buy the actual thing to try it out. You might just have pushed me even closer to doing that.
Great competition @Paulie, what a cool little app too
Here is my attempt with something a little more "arty".

EDIT: tried again and the video came out much better
If you were dry firing then it might explain a large resistance jump. When dry firing the temperature climbs all faster then with wet wicking which is why I asked, but almost 0.2 on stainless seems a bit large.
0.48 jumping to 0.5 is expected and what you want to see.
If you have a dead short...
There are so many great vendors here, depending on what you are after.
Here is a nice comprehensive list of them

While stainless does change resistance, 0.33 jumping to 0.49 is abnormal. Is this with wicking or just dry firing it? That is quite a large jump And tells me that there is something wrong with your connections.
Check is all your screws are tightened and that you aren't shorting out on the deck.
Like most I started to stop smoking.
Now I Vape partly to keep of the cigarettes but vaping 1mg nic I can go a day or two without vaping and not crave the nicotine at all anymore so that's more of an excuse than anything. Mostly I Vape cause of the hobby, all the tastes and all the new toys
