@SAVapeGear kindly pointed out in the Skyline group buy thread that this drip tip / juice flow control can be seen in PBusardo's "The Hall Of Vape - Stuttgart Germany" video.
Ah yes, I see that now... I was too busy staring at the glass portion :)
I think you are right, that does indeed look like a drop in replacement and an awesome one at that.
I'm pretty sure I would have missed out on this RTA if I tried to go it alone... so I'm exceptionally grateful for this group buy, just knowing that somewhere out there, there are several Skylines slowly making their way to us... that's good enough for me and I'm sure it will be worth the wait...
One of my all time favourite e-liquids was Stash's Lushington (peaches and cream with a touch of custard). I went through tons of the stuff until it became impossible to get hold of (short of importing it myself). I've been through several peach vapes of my own creation as well as those I could...
I picked up a Hussar RTA recently and experienced the very same leaking, so thank you for confirming this as something that happens... it was driving me insane, even had me doubting the authenticity of the tank at one stage. I'm glad to hear the bell cap sorts that out and will have to procure...
I had a similar feeling but figured that since I don't personally do straight up MTL, all I needed to do was grab all the M/DTL and DTL disks. I figured it's better to cough up ~R336 now than to pay almost the same just on shipping/duties at a later stage :)
I wasn't sure what exactly the "new deck" was going to bring to the table and as such I was a bit hesitant to participate in this group buy... but this... this changes everything :)
I'd love to join in on the action (and wait) for a Skyline that includes this new deck.
It seems that this link...
Paid and emailed proof of payment, thanks again @Rob Fisher, the timing on this was incredible as it will arrive more or less the same time as my new Reo, I couldn't be happier :)
I had the exact same thing happening at first when it was plugged into my PC, I was using a designated charging port on my motherboard capable of sourcing up to 1.2A of current but it turns out it wasn't enough juice... I did some reading and it looks like it needs 1.5A for this thing to work...
I got one in the last/first group buy and at the time pure nickel wire wasn't available yet (locally at least), so I was rocking this thing with regular kanthal builds, a solid performer I must say! The build quality is impeccable (expected at that price point I suppose), the weak magnet on the...
Lol! I'm guilty of sheeping it out, but simply couldn't risk turning down a cool screwdriver, ah well, guess I'll settle for the drink instead :)
