Simple as they come, thats 24ga N80 with a 3mm ID wicked with cotton candy, running it at 62.5W. Seems to be working pretty damn well.
Kinda wish they had used Digiflavor Pharaoh type clamps, but I guess thats what version 2 will be.
A big criticism from me would be on the tolerances, sure...
Mine should be coming tomorrow morning. Went the whole hog and bought the Hadaly + all 3 shorty caps. and i bought Dripbox V2 this morning to use with it.
I've run 80:20 and higher before, todays just was 60:40 though. To be honest, I think my take on squonkers might be a bit unique. See i started with a dripbox V1 and thats the kinda bottle i'm used to, softer than a lot of the other bottles. Also i've found the dripbox is a bit more generous...
Been in my hand since about 10:00 this morning, tweaked the build a little, running Complex Chaos - Strawberry Desire... Can't put across how much i'm loving this juice! Build is 24G N80 4 spaced wraps per coil with a 3mm ID, its 0.17ohms. I'm running it at 115W
Clouds are a pretty deep subject.
For someone new to this kinda thing I'd strongly advise that you only chase clouds on a regulated mod, at least until the whole ohms law, and discharge currents from builds and what your batteries can take and all that sinks in.
What works for me, is this...
I vape 25-30ml a day (lots of squeezing), and have been squonking for a reasonably long time. I've only had a bottle fail on me once, because i was squonking like a fool and using my nail to press the bottle.
lol this made me strip down my Dripbox 160W (I was dumb i left it with juice in it, and it got everywhere, because it fell on its side for a week) put a fresh build on my frankenatty (Baal V3 deck + Alliance V2 Sleeve + Petri V1 Chuff + Hastur BF Pin) and modded a heatsink to be BF. Got a dual...
Ye i love it, considering what it is, i think its pretty compact.
I think the SX mods can do preheating, and the joyetech/wismec mods can be flashed with Arictic Fox, and then you have really fine grained control over the preheat curve.
Unfortunately EFT isn't an option for everyone. For me living up here an EFT is a non-starter, the government is deliberately putting EFT's on an indefinite wait, to try and stop hard currency leaving the country. So paying by Visa card is my only option. Granted I'm just 1 guy, but for...
you're right it does look to be parallel.
It can pull enough current from a parallel setup to deliver 166W. But its vastly less efficient. Series with stepdown would yield far greater battery life. Honestly if they used something more like a PWM instead of a DNA250D it could push out far more...
