Out And About With Your Reo!

Oh, and edible it was. The corner where this restaurant is located has had 4 failed cafes since I've lived in the area. Nando's moved in and has had a line-up most nights for about 7 years. It's considered high end fast food and competes well with about a half-dozen Japanese restaurants (they...

    Avocado dripper dry hits

^^this Didn't have to shave the wick tails on the avo I gave a test drive to with 2.5mm coils. Also, be mindful of wicking material - cotton will swell, rayon will not.

    Avocado dripper dry hits

You could build single or dual verticals, but that would work at cross purposes to the wicking, which needs to flow into the juice supply holes. You'd be creating right angle bends to the wick, most notably with the bottom tail. That, plus the air holes are horizontal, so using a longer coil...

    Avocado dripper dry hits

In addition to the wick shaving tip, I find that genny style tanks like this benefit from not running the wick tails right down to the bottom of the tank and tilting while taking a draw so the the juice is surrounding the wicks tails.

Could you fine gentlemen give me some suggestions?

You'll have to experiment with the flavour %ages that you prefer, but I find most any fruit pairs well with anise. Cherry, grape, pear, apple, kiwi, lemon, lime, orange (of any type), and guava are all flavours I've used in various combinations with either anise or a full-on absinthe (which has...

Well, that would be my neighbourhood for 5 months out of the year (we are, however, spared the Canadian winter ice and snow, except at elevation). This is a pic (not by me - it's far too good) from in the green belt I mentioned (so, about 5 minutes from my house). Those trees grow so big...

    Losing the vaping debate.

Excellent find, @Alex (as usual). Looooots of excellent points raised and I can't wait for chapter 3. While I agree with all of it, the one thing that really sticks out for me is the vibe and tenor of vape shops, at least in my town. With all due respect to vendors in here, they mostly (all?)...

    Airport security

Europe has been no problem in my travels with vape gear. Remember, there are two gauntlets we must pass - security and customs. Each has a different agenda. Security just wants safety on the plane - battery control, nature of the devices, liquid limits. In my experience, once you explain (if...

Heewack! Thanks for the tips and suggestions, lads. I've been doing some research on patina process - following the threads and techniques suggested above. Trying to make up my mind between the salt/ammonia route and the ink/torch trick. Prolly should have ordered a couple of doors. Might...

Geez Louise. I hear you on the nature front. Here's a pic of my back yard... We back on to a green belt - 1000 acres or so of trees. That means we get bears, coyotes, eagles, owls, racoons, skunks, deer, cougars, and mice... lots and lots of scared little mice. It's a freakin' menagerie...
