Mate, I am no expert but the rating of 40A on those units may be very optimistic. Try and find battery guide by Mooch (is on forum somewhere) for a more accurate rating. Hope this is of some help.

A strong coffee with Paulies Pistachio Ice Cream is unbeatable. Any fruit with copious amounts of vodka also works, in fact in my case it works rather too well.

Mate, am also in remote location but can get Twisp liquid from local Clicks. I buy 20ml,18mg nic and then add 40ml Dolly Varden to bring nic down to 6mg and also makes the expense a lot lighter on the wallet. I order from vendors across the border, but use the Twisp liquids in an emergency...

Mate, pick ups and guitar sound is all very subjective so would not like to advise on the merits of one pick up vs another. I should perhaps have said the bare knuckles are the best pick ups I have owned that suit my playing. I absolutely love them but they may no suit you. Good luck and keep on...

Mate, consider a Fender Blues Junior amp, with a strat it is absolutely heavenly. Depends on your style of playing of course, but definitely worth a look.
