I love that video! I got a preview of it the night it was launched on YouTube. I cringed a little at them prying the door off, but was not surprised by the results of the testing.
Hey @Zia - enjoy reading this thread - it's from a contest we did in January to illustrate how tough a REO is. When you're ready to move on to one, let me know via PM and we can discuss pricing and I will help you coordinate a group buy so the other Reonauts in S.A. can get some supplies and...
Time for some recognition from some Reoville threads.
First, I want to thank @Raindance for the vocabulary lesson with my new, favorite word - "Reonitis".
Second, for @DoubleD - if you would like to get every color of SL made, we can work out a quantity discount. And, since I'll be sending a...
@Room Fogger - The only way you'll truly be able to show the sparkle is with a video. Even in bright light, the glitter just shows up as random white spots. Our eyes need the movement of the mod or camera to pick up the glitter points.
Regardless, it's a great pic you took and a really nice...
That's a beauty - exactly what Rob would have wanted to see out of one of our mods - a daily user, able to take a beating and still running like it is brand new.
Thanks for sharing the picture!
Well done @RayDeny ! When we get any Reos back into the shop here for 510 upgrades, that's exactly how we do it as well - drill out the old one and then we use a 12 ton press to press the new 510 into place. I know once a 510 is in, it's not going anywhere!
I thought I should copy this over from ECF discussion board so I can get some of your opinions as well. Discussion came up around a regulated REO.
I am definitely interested in doing a DNA chip Reo. I am in contact with Evolv directly to see how we can work together and turn this idea into a...
I can officially confirm that @GregF is indeed the winner!
Greg and I are working out details, including possibly lumping his prize in with a group buy for those of you needing a new mod or accessories. More details to come shortly.
I did end up including entries from people wishing to own a Reo, along with the almost true Star Trek entry....
Next time I will make sure to be specific that anyone can enter. Thanks for the feedback!
Well, the contest is over and I have drawn a winner. They have been contacted via PM to confirm shipping address and mod selection. Once everything is confirmed, I'll post the winner's mod and winning entry on here for everyone.
Thanks for all the great stories and fun pictures! We'll have...
I don't have a clue. That's what Rob named it and it's what people have called it for a while now, so we left it alone.
It does sound a bit better than calling it "Reo Grand with flat-top, side button, and curved back" though, doesn't it? I think the short version would be the Reo Grand...
Good question @GregF . Primarily because I haven't loaded them up on the machine to slot them out. I was thinking of doing something different with the slots - maybe running them top to bottom instead of side to side. What are your thoughts?
From Reoville and the discussions there around our mods, I wanted to provide a bit of help:
@Amir , here is the link for building your own Mini 2.1: https://www.reosmods.com/product/build-mini-2-1-lpsl/#mini-2-1-lpsl-body
@Clouds4Days , here is the link for building your own Grand...
Just over two weeks left to get your stories in.
Anybody ever drop their Reo in a river? What about running over it with a truck? I heard both of those stories recently at a Vape Expo here in the States.
Hi @Silver
P67 Main Advantages: Flat top, so better aesthetics with various large atty's. Side button instead of top button. More ergonomic (rounded back edges fit into the natural curve of a hand better)
Firing mechanism. When I put a P67 on the voltmeter to check it after a build, the...
