I don't see the need for all the flappy-stapled-clappy-alien malarkey. I did however finally figure out half-decent wicking a while ago, so I don't need the safety net of temp control anymore. Dual 3-odd mm 5.5 wrap coils in 24ga Ni80 and I'm quite happy... I suppose I look a bit of an almost...
Rediscovering the joy of vaping.
Christmas prezzie to myself: OXVA Arbiter 2 sitting on top of the Voopoo Drag 3 with mandatory temp control firmware update. 2 little 8.5 wrap SS316l coils. This is bliss.
Not meant as a judgement on authenticity, and I have no idea of local availability, but media off Geek Vape's own site says otherwise:

Only one would need to be borked to break communication, and the issue could be anywhere between USB connector and the Drag's chip I suppose. I can't think of anything relevant you haven't tried.
Hopefully Voopoo has better support than the norm for Chinese mod manufacturers...

To my knowledge comms and charging would happen via separate contacts on the Drag's USB connector. That Device Manager doesn't even show a hint of something being connected or unplugged is a bit of a bad sign, I think. :(

So I was on an absolute mission yesterday after having made up my mind earlier in the week to find a Tesla WYE 200w, to alleviate my single 18650 dependence. Many videos watched and reviews read convinced me that there is no other mod that comes close in a cost vs performance analysis.
I found...
Grew tired of my Battlestar Mini chowing through 18650s, so in comes the Tesla WYE 200w. Reckon the tank weighs more than the mod... Weird sensation to have something so light feel so solid.

I know @RichJB a already responded, but I get a little riled up whenever I see or hear someone say this.
Wikipedia is a superb resource on any but the most obscure topic. It is a collective effort and proper references are either required or encouraged depending on the subject matter. It's our...
Even just the file format speaks of ineptitude. I realise it's directly from the government printers, but a 20-odd page pdf published for download really shouldn't be 20mb...
Be that as it may, this is precisely the type of heavy-handed overreach that I feared. Petitions are all well and good -...
I desecrated @Paul33's Choffee by dropping the Cappuccino V2 by 1.2%... 'cause I ran out... and chucking in 1.2% Bavarian Cream on a whim to make up for the perceived flavour deficit. It's... good. According to my taste buds, at least.
Well, we don't know yet, do we? From my digging I don't think the Bill has been published, so I'm wary of speculating too much, but I think I've made it clear enough that the gist of my concern is a Department of Health not distinguishing between two materially different activities and their...
We're getting fixated on what's happening in the US, when their lawmakers have already shown - or at least convincingly feigned - intent to remain objective and act in the public's interest. We have our own concerns. :)
As for the societal upside: we're creatures of habit and vices. Be it...
This is the Department of Health's latest tweet. The Minister is the public face of, and driving force behind policy. That snippet is not from the mind of someone able and/or willing to distinguish between the two.
Government's role should be minimising harm without encroaching more than...
It was on 1700 odd before this past weekend, so not too bad. There needs to be some concerted effort to get Mr Motsoaledi to familiarise himself with the latest research coming from Europe and the US. If their intention is truly to steer the public at large away from tobacco use, regarding...
I picked up one of these on Vape King's special on the back of the positive reviews, and I'm not having any issues with flavour at all. Simple 2.5mm ID 28ga twisted stainless build, I think 6.5 wraps, ever so slightly spaced. Just a tad below the top of, and almost touching the posts. Running on...
