Well we never tested it on Nic salts. The wicking and coil was designed to deliver optimum strength on 18mg freebase. Remember that the uptake of Nic salts is much faster and the throat hit is softened, so you might very quickly feel "green at the gills" with too much nicotine. But if it works...
Thanks @Beechtrees. You right about the Clearo Pod and the Clearo 3 being mellower. There's a trick with the Clearo 3 ... everything including the coil is identical to the Clearo 2 ... all we did was redesign the air channel a tiny bit and introduce the metal mouthpiece/driptip ... and that...
Hi @OmegaCo, I can vouch for the quality of the Clearo as a MTL device ... testing and feedback have shown each new Clearo device from Twisp has improved on the version before it. Many pure MTL fans love the performance, but it is important that you find a good quality 18mg flavours for it. It...
Hi everyone,
@Hooked is correct. I no longer work at Twisp and the last design I was responsible for was the Aero 2 ... so I cannot speak for the future strategy for Twisp. But essentially @Hooked is correct, Twisp was bought out by BAT and that partly means focussing on the promotion of their...
Hi there @Ashtonnaidoo ... it probably means that a little too much juice is flowing into your atomiser head ... so this is not a soaking problem, but the opposite, your atomiser head is being flooded. The main reason for this is usually that some air is making it's way into the tank which...
It is with a heavy heart that I need to inform you that I am moving on, from Head of Design at Twisp, to pursue other ventures. It has been a thrilling ride and one of the greatest experiences of my career. I really enjoyed working on the new product designs and being part of a fantastic team. A...
@Nospheratu we are investigating the issue. Please do not go back to the store until I get to the bottom of this and get back to you.
Just continue to use the device for now. It seems as though everything else is working correctly, yes?
I will keep you updated.
Hi there.
Sorry to hear that you have not come right. I find it very strange.
Secondly, Matthew was following procedure and correctly replaced the faulty aspect of your device. The tank should not be a contributing factor and so we would not outright replace the entire device, we would give you...
Thanks, we had thought about that. In fact, around 2015, all our devices came standard with those little rubber grommets. But we found that most people found them a hassle more than anything. Kept losing them or breaking them, and in the end abandoning them.
:-D ... no problem.
Good news is the solution to your problem is very simple. Just take your Clearo 3 to your nearest Twisp store and ask them to replace it under warranty. The device should not be doing what it's doing. I am guessing there is problem with the electronics. Preferably take it...
Ok, the gurgling/bubbling sound at the coil is due to the coil being flooded. To avoid this:
1] Draw properly on the device for at least 2-3 seconds. Little puffs or short button presses don't allow for enough of the liquid in the wick to be evaporated - resulting in an accumulation of too much...
Ok ...
1] Change the coil and see if the behaviour persists.
2] Please can you quote me the 6-digit number on the bottom of your battery, it is where the twisp logo is.
3] Not sure if you have the correct hang of it, but you are supposed to be able to unscrew, open/close the tank without having...
