It's used in the electronics industry. Comes in a can for commercial use. You spray it on and it dries to a plastic like film to protect components from moisture and joints from corrosion.

I agree with @Silver. I charge all batteries below 0.5A and so far have only killed one in about 4 years. Have enough batteries to not need a 1 hr charge time and they last a long long time

Those "swirl" marks are made by the tool. It does not matter how fine you set the cut and at what speed you do it, it shows up. You need to polish it to get it out and thats a tiny space. The way to tell if its great machining or not is to feel for ridges and steps with your thumb nail. I will...

As to the mod I'm out of ideas lol. I have a ipv mini that does that, the mod works but it...
What charger are you using? Those batteries need a recovery charge if they are that low. Aliens are funny mods, most just work no issue but a few of them have the strangest problems. Try reloading the firmware. All mods drain batteries even if they are "off" it never really turns off if it has...
The battery will be fine. I hav.e more than one that got wet. No issues.
If the maintenance dept does not have thin wall heat shrink in the size you need ask them for if they have Kapton tape. It looks like a off yellow sellotape but is used for electrical insulation amongst other things.
