    Lost Vape Thelema 250c died

Remember that the DNA100c has a max input voltage of 4.2v, whereas the 250c has a minimum input voltage of 6v. So the 250c won't run with single battery or multiple in parallel, and the 100c won't run multiple in series. That is, best to use different size mod boy designs for them.

    Lost Vape Thelema 250c died

I was referring to the degredation of the plastic. That degredation worsens and eventually the mod fails from the 510 area. I wouldn't say yours was in a fantastic condition if it were doomed to fail. It's not so much that you bumped your mod that that plastic degrades. I had a centauras that's...

    Lost Vape Thelema 250c died

The thelema and centauras are trojan horses. All the metal on the outside are all just for show when everything is screwed into a plastic central structure.

SABS to develop first standards for vaping products

I see. I seriously doubt though that every piece of daily electrnoics around us all have been emc certified? I'd pay a few bucks to see a noisy cricket do that. lol.

SABS to develop first standards for vaping products

This is the problem. These prohibitive costs also means that smaller device manufacturers (ones that we hobbyists love best) will simply refuse to export to us. Same problem for small local guys making dispos. Can anyone explain why vape devices need electromagnetic compatibility?? @Intuthu...

Vape creation or kidney puncher wire?

Maybe we should buy together so we can split shipping? Can use my Aramex Global Shopper account, pretty cheap from China to RSA. Roughly 3 weeks.

Vape creation or kidney puncher wire?

I've been in the same boat for years buddy. The only solution is to either import or, like the gentlemen in this thread, buy massive kg spools. Also, with SS, one has to verify it's properly annealed and not 'raw' wire, or else it's basically unusable.

    Zirconium Wire Anyone?

Good. Now that you have finished testing, time to send me the wires to 'verify' your results.

    Zirconium Wire Anyone?

Oh no, don't get the wrong idea. Very much appreciate your input. And what you've been told is not all that off the mark. As wire, the Chinese vaping wire we get here are absolutely rubbish. They are just not so rubbish that they throw off TC by an intolerable margin in temperature. And in the...

    Zirconium Wire Anyone?

Why are we trying to deal with hot spots? When vaping in TC so 200 to 250° c, in my experience whatever effects hotspots have are pretty negligible if not I'm detectable

    Zirconium Wire Anyone?

They not bad to that degree. I manage very stable TC with Chinese wires. Even on quite a few non DNA/yihi mods.

    Zirconium Wire Anyone?

Beggars can't be choosers. I have no access to local manufacturers of SS wire so Chinese vaping wire is all I got.

    Zirconium Wire Anyone?

Enjoying my dual titanium twisted coils in my manta rta. The annealing made a huge difference. Without that it's impossible.

    Zirconium Wire Anyone?

*falls over dead......R1.2k cheap????!!! Are we in hyperinflation already?? I suppose you're used to lab grade ones costing 10x. My no name brand one that goes up to 400 degrees C is pretty cheap. Only R250. :--P

    Zirconium Wire Anyone?

I guess I could wire up an atty with like half a meter of my titanium wire and use a mod on low wattage to heat the wire slowly. hmmm....

    Zirconium Wire Anyone?

No, my SS430 is from geekvape.

    Zirconium Wire Anyone?

Oooph......there is no way I can catch that dull red colour by using a lighter or torch. The wire heats up way too fast.
