Closed: Need help fitting DNA 60 board into a SXK BB

Morning,

Anybody that can help me fit a DNA 60 board to SXK Billet Box.

I removed the old sxk 70 watt board and stripped everything, now I need help fitting the new DNA 60 board.

If anybody can help or point me into the right direction it would be much appreciated.

@DarthBranMuffin swapped his Grus board for a DNA board.

not the same mod I know but maybe you can pick his brain.

Don't have much experience with the other DNA boards, Grus was a 75C.

Glad you got it sorted @adriaanh and now you got a working BB!

Can i perhaps request that the solution is posted on this thread as Im sitting with a dead SXK BB due to liquid damage that I would like to revive

It's a pretty simple process provided you have some soldering skills (not plumbing soldering but rather general electrical repair) there are wires from the fire button as well as the up/down button that need to be carefully soldered onto the new board.
The new DNA board already has existing buttons that will be "Bypassed" thankfully enough they thought the design of the PCB through and included solder pads where the new button wires will be soldered to.
The entire replacement should only take a few minutes.
