E-Cigarettes: One Dead In New York and 'Vape' Is the Word of the Year

This is really sad news. I didn't copy the story but left the link because I encourage you all to read the user comments in the bottom. And I fully agree. Again vaping is the culprit even though there is no evidence or more information and in my opinion very very very poor parenting.

That is indeed a tragedy, but as with all tragedies of this nature it is 100% on the parents (or just bad luck, bad things sometimes just happens). The world is not a safe place and there are literally thousands of ways for infants to be harmed. It's sad and I understand the emotional "outburst" by the writer, but really she should know better. First she says that vapers are making unsubstantiated claims (health benefits, etc), and then the entire article she does exactly the shame (proven facts that e-cig use is increasing among teens, really?). The state of journalism is really in shambles these days.
