So I volunteered to do a review on this product (I thought, why the hell not):

Elephone ELE Cigar E1 E-Cigar Vaping Mod

It comes with a tank called the Elephone ELE Fog Tank

First of all, it looks good. It really looks nice. I'm talking about both of them. The Mod and the Atomizer.

They come as a set, so I'm doing the review for both the MOD and the Atomizer here.
This mod was sent to me by www.pandawill.com for the purpose of a review and they requested a text review instead of a video review.
The set sells for $39.99

So here goes.

Packaging: I received two boxes. One for the MOD and the other for the Atomizer

Packagins is really nice and solid. Very good packaging.
Each of the items had an instruction booklet and they are very well printed and readable, although it's small print, so some of us need glasses (like me).

The MOD:

It's a very nice looking mod made out of Zinc alloy, Aluminium, plastic and leather. It's real leather. I checked.

The buttons are nice and clicky, but unfortunately they rattle quite a bit. I have OCD about that and can't stand it. Maybe it won't bother other people.
It has a charging port on the underside of the mod.
When I screwed on the atomizer, it seemed to sit a little skew and it didn't sit flush unless you really use force and screw it down hard. When I screwed it all the way down to the mod, it shorted out. Unscrewed the atty a tad, and it worked. I don't like this and it shouldn't be like that.
The mod does TC and VW.

Specs:
Dimensions: 88 x 40.5 x 25mm
Leather color: Brown
Device color: Pearl black, Pearl white
High rate battery: 18650 40A(not included)
Coil: 0.05-2.5Ω
Material: Leather, Aluminum, Zinc alloy, PC eyeglass
Voltage rang: 3.15~8.5V
Wattage rang: 5~70W
Thread Type: 510 thread
USB Charge port: micro USB port

The battery cover comes off easily and goes on just as easy. Nice strong magnets keep the battery cover (the part covered in leather) in place and it won't come off on it's own.
The battery sits nice and tight in the mod, but not too tight and the battery contacts won't damage your battery wraps. That's a plus.

Unfortunately this mod feels a bit cheap in the hand and it's really flimsy. Also, the machining of the metal parts are not the best I've seen, but could be acceptable to some folks. Personally, I'm not impressed with the build. It's very light and feels cheap.

All the functions work well and worked nicely with all the atomizers I've tried on it, just the issue with the short when you screw the atty until it touches the mod, worries me a lot.
It does TC with Ni200 and Titanium coils, as well as normal power mode for kanthal and SS. It does not do TC with SS.

The menu is very easy. 5 Clicks to turn it on. It's in power mode by default. Then adjust your wattage with the + and - buttons.
Hold in the + and - buttons together and options come up for Ni, Power and Ti. Use the +- buttons to choose and press the power button. Then adjust temp as needed. Very straight forward.

The Atomizer:

Specs:

Size: 75 x 22.5mm(H x D)
Capacity: 4.5ml
Resistance:
1. TVC(Turbine Vertical Coil), 316SS Wire, 0.4ohm, Powerful Type(30W~150W)
2. TVC(Turbine Vertical Coil), Ni200 Wire, 0.15ohm, TC Type(200°F~600°F) (30W~80W)
Color: silver
Material: 316 stainless steel, 0.4ohm

The machining on it isn't very good and the threading is scratchy and sticky. Not smooth at all. A big no-no for me.
The drip tip also has airflow control to cool down the vapor, but I didn't use that.
The drip tip is also not 510 and normal 510 drip tips will not work on this tank.
Just below the drip tip, there's a little fan, like in the Turbo atty. I'm not sure what it's supposed to do, but according to the booklet, and I quote: "The turbine blade, main function is increasing sub tank air inflow through compressed air."

The problem with the "Atomizer short" warning when it's flush on the mod, is worrying and I think it might be the atomizer as I screwed my Sapor on it until it touched the body and everything was fine. No short warning as with the tank.
Juice flow control is done by loosening the tank from the base slightly. I don't like that. There should be a separate control ring for that. This is the first tank I used with juice flow control, so I can't compare it to anything. Maybe that's the way it's supposed to work, I don't know.

Flavor is surprisingly good from the tank and I have to say it's actually better than my Mutation X MT RTA. Really, it is!
Vapor production is decent, but won't win you a cloud blowing competition unfortunately.
Airflow is good on this tank and it has airflow control, although the control ring is too loose for my taste and it might adjust from normal handling.

All in all, this tank gives a really nice vape in power mode and in TC. I tried both.

Unfortunately, with both the coils and at different wattage and temp, I keep getting juice in my mouth and that irritates the hell out of me. I really don't like that. Even when I adjusted the juice flow control, it still happens.

MOD Pros:
Nice and small.
Looks good.
Everything works as expected. Easy menu.
Reverse battery protection.
Atomizer short protection.

MOD Cons:
Looks and feels a bit cheap.
Build quality is not the best, but acceptable.
Buttons rattle.

Atimizer Pros:
Good juice capacity, 4.5ml.
Very good flavor.
Decent vapor production.
Good airflow.

Atomizer Cons:
Build quality is sub-standard.
Threading is sticky and scratchy.
Keep getting juice in my mouth.
Have to loosen the tank from the base to adjust juice flow.
It shorts out when touching the mod when screwed in.

Would I go out and buy this, knowing what I know now? No, I wouldn't.
Would I recommend this to a new vaper? No, I wouldn't, but if you're really on a tight budget, then I guess this will suffice.

Conclusion: Not the best out there and I'm not impressed with it at all. I've seen mods and tanks that are almost as cheap and way better quality. It's a really nice looking setup, but just not good enough. It does give a nice flavorful vape though, that is a plus.

Thanks for reading and have a good vape! :)

Nice review. Its quite sad about the build quality because it really does look nice and classy.
If I may ask. What are the pricing on these?

Hey @zadiac, very objective and honest review, thanks man, you may have saved me from wasting some cash.
