A nifty little toy I could not pass up at the price.
The gist of it: TC and V/W, from 1 to 165 watts and 200 to 500 degrees F.
Built in 4000mAh battery. Induction charging plate max 800mAh or USB cable charge max 1000mAh
First Impressions:
Battery and Charging
If you spend any amount of time behind a desk or in the office you will love the idea of the little induction charging plate. It really is great just put the mod down and hey presto! Always a full charge.
Taking it in the road proved no issue. Drained 3 fat tanks and had half the battery left. It took me a whole day and some of the next morning to get a flat battery warning.
Negative point here is charging takes pretty long also. So there she is with a permanent home on the work desk.
Build Quality and Design
Built like a tank. Looks solid and feels solid. By no means an eye turner though. It is kinda brick-like in looks really. Not the most well designed shape in the planet but I guess thats thanks to the battery. By no means uncomfortable. By no means shouty. But I like it because of that.
510 connector is solid and tight. Connection with battery always flawless. Firing button is also not floppy but depresses with a satisfying little click.
In Use
Simple as opening a packet of chips. Power on by means of 5 clicks of the firing button. 5 clicks to lock.
Switching between V/W by means of holding up and down buttons. .5watt increments and 10 degree F increments. Not hair fine but good enough.
Auto standby and auto power down too if locked. Power off by means of holding up and fire buttons for 3 seconds.
Overall: I really like it. Not ideal for travel at all but at my desk it is quite perfect. And 165watts is plenty of headroom for me. Overall money to badassedness ratio, very happy with my purchase.
