Hi all

So i wicked my Griffin 25 mm the first couple of times as per the "Big Guy" video - the same as i wick my 22 mm and it was beautiful......

The last 3 times i have wicked her up i have a problem , no leaking but it is like it is not wicking as it should , i get almost no bubbles and feel like i am very close to a dry hit all the time.....

As per Craig's video i cut the wicking tails after making a bow tie ans stuff them into the channels , same as i do with my 22.

Any advice ?

not a direct solution but whats your build?
personally i used dual and quad coil setups and i have found the quad coil setups less of a hassle to get right, I think its due to the smaller ID (2mm) and also that i use less cotton due to more coils.
what i can suggest is try less cotton what I do is put my griffin on a rx200s and then stand it on a table and then insert my cotton and if the mod doesnt move at all i then know its the right amount of cotton (got this trick from vaping with vic on youtube)
otherwise if you have changed PG/VG ratio then that may have slowed down wicking also

I get the same problem when I've used too much cotton - it restricts the juice and doesn't allow air to escape.

I haven't watched that video but I do the bow tie thing too. I do it vertically and trim the top part that extends above the line of my coils. Then with my tweezers I gently insert the wick tail into the hole piece by piece. I do this by pulling down small sections of the wick from the underside of the wick first, working my way to the top (if that makes sense?)

Once in the slot I gently fluff the ends out and then use my tweezers to create a small air hole by pushing them down from the top near the post.

If at any point you're having to force cotton in then you've got too much. Pull the end out and trim a small amount before trying again.

Hope this helps.
