This is just a general observation and if you disagree please change my mind.

I have always been a flavor chaser and a cloud chaser, and I have always had separate setups for both.

Something that is concerning me with the trend of 24mm and 25mm drippers that are getting ever so popular is that less and less new 22mm are being released. Lets take the Goon 1.5 for example. I would have loved this in a 22mm option for a flavor build. Now I know that I can install bigger Alien coils and get "good" flavor from it but it still won't compare to my 22mm original Goon.

Bigger RDA's need bigger coils to produce better flavor, bigger coils need more juice and more power. Juice consumption will go way up and battery levels will go way down.

It just feels to me like the "Extreme" vaping of last year has now become the "normal" vaping of today and don't see the practical advantages of bigger and bigger builds and atties.

Nothing wrong with blowing clouds but if you want flavor you need a smaller RDA to get the best out of your juice.

This is not a "back in my day" post but more of a practicality and every day use kind of post.

This is why I got the Hadaly. As you said, the 24 and 25mm atties are great for cloud production but on an everyday basis ie. at work or when you're out, flavour is the way to go.

Totally agree I am now running a VW squonker with a single coil 22mm wasp and the flavor is amazing
Initially I thought I would not be getting a full satisfying hit moving from 24mm dual coil RDTA but man how wrong I was.
Guess I have gone the full circle

Missed this thread but totally agree @Rooigevaar

Some of the "normal" setups today produce so much vapour you cant see anything. Not your computer screen, where you are going in your car or even whats on your desk after a few minutes. Lol.

Not to talk about vaping in public. Very difficult to stealth with these monsters.

Each have their place but i agree that the so called "normal" vape setups of today are getting crazy

Personally, and not related to clouds or flavour, I find the latest drippers to be awesome for that full rich soft vape that I need and really enjoy.
Without that, and from experience on all the smaller mods and devices like the twisp etc, I just do not get the satisfaction, so for me, the latest "extreme" gear works and I want more.

I've always been a flavour chaser so I've never had an rda bigger than 22mm. Like you said, a single coil 22mm rda is better on battery life and juice consumption and a good one even produces awesome flavour.

They may not be as popular or common as the bigger atties but they're out there
