Hellvape Dead Rabbit Ver 3 RTA

The image on the right. Can you remove the goodie with two straight edges. It rotates but I don't see a way of getting it out for cleaning.
It just seems weird it rotates to accommodate screwing the base on and I've given it a couple of good tugs with pointed pliers but it won't budge outwards.

That rotating piece is likely pressure-fitted or secured with an O-ring, which is why it moves but doesn’t just pop out. I haven’t personally tried to remove it, as I usually clean my tanks by running them through an ultrasonic cleaner. If it’s not budging, I’d recommend against forcing it—sometimes manufacturers design these parts to stay in place to prevent damage or misalignment.


If you still want to give it a go, try warming the RTA slightly (not too hot, just enough to loosen any residue) and use rubber-tipped tweezers or a cloth for a better grip. A gentle wiggle might help, but if there’s no movement, it’s probably best left alone. Let me know how it goes!

Thanks. I currently use a dental Auqa Cleaner but hate knowing there could be a stubborn buildup.
