I bought an Avo 22 clone from fasttech and would like to know if this is safe to use on a mech mod, the 510 connection pin looks a bit peculiar and I don't know what it is made from. Is it safe to use on mech mods and hybrid mods?

Should be fine ....... stainless but it is just not gold-plated bronze/copper. 
The pin will be a weaker conductor.

Yeah I figured, but it won't blow up? My buddy wants to put it on a v1 noisy cricket
