Hi all

Am making this thread to contribute our ideas to help others

What do you do to make your juice last longer?

This is what I do

Been doing it for quite a long time - but now it becomes vital

I dilute my commercial juices with a PG/VG/nic base mix
In most cases (with the juices I use) I find the flavour drop off by doing this is not that much or at least more than acceptable.

I mix up a base of PG/VG and nic to a similar strength of nic that I want in the final juice.
Then I mix my base with the commercial juice - either half/half or sometimes even much less commercial juice.

For example, in my Blackbird (which is on extreme rationing anyway) I mix about 1 part Blackbird to about 5 or 6 parts base. In others about 30% commercial commercial juice.

In others its about half half. - effectively doubling the life of your commercial juice.

I dont measure with syringes etc or a scale. I just eyeball it. Easier when using a taller thinner bottle.
Doesnt have to be perfectly accurate as long as it works.

With Havana Nightz I was on about half half. Last night I reduced the ratio because I dont want to run out of Havana. So I reduced it to about 20% - and I can say the final vape is pretty much the same, lol.

Give it a try, it will help by letting your commercial juice last longer.

@Silver you mix without syringes or a scale, that is talent on another level :)

Please buy a scale, you will love mixing even more when you have exact amounts

IMO most commercial juices can be diluted without reducing flavour.

Most of them use insane amounts of sweetener. It's what makes them sell better.

Take a look at the early DIY recipes. The percentage of flavour concentrates was much higher than they are today.

I really feel for the guys that use commercial juices, we planned for 21 days and then get an extra 14 and then we get level 4 and the tobacco and vaping industry get screwed. I also know that being quiet in the office I am using much more juice than normal and am certain a lot of people will be the same.
I agree with Silver, if you have base available then try to dilute where you can

if you're using an RDA/RBA change up your coil set up to, as soon as I started getting low, went to a much smaller ID single coil.

Eyeballing and counting drops +1
Diluting commercial juice +1
Vaping failed DIY+1

Thanks @Slick

Yes I hear you
I have a scale and the calibration weights ;-)
But I only use the scale when doing "proper DIY" when I am mixing up recipes with various flavour concentrates - and one needs to get the concentrates exact.

However, this is just about diluting the commercial juices - I dont need a scale for that.

Thank you for this thread @Silver :)
I hadn't even thought of doing this. Will definitely try get some VG and give it a go. My brain just shut down after the news last night. Haha.

With regards to VG it has to be BP, right?
