IPV 4. eating battery life

My up to this point trusty ipv4 mod recently has been sucking the life from my 18650 battery,but only one of them.Usually after some use l will turn it off with plenty of life and the next morning when I turn it on I'll get a low battery message and when l check them on my charger one is almost full and the other almost totally spent.Any ideas?

The one battery sounds like it's reached the end of its service life. Have you tried a fresh pair of batteries?

It's doing it with different paired batteries that work in other mods.That said I'd have to get on the mod being defective.

Doesn't make sense to drain just one of the two batteries if they're both connected and stacked. If they were two separate power sources, yes, but together, doesn't make sense. I have to go with @BumbleBee on this. Just my opinion. I'm in no way an expert.

Do you still have the charging balance board in the device? If you do I would suspect it would be that, maybe some juice got on the board and its shorting it out slowly?

@Spikester I think you may be on to something.I will see about removing it.I never bothered to since I never had a problem.I'll let you know how I make out.Thanks.

@Spikester ,great call.I removed the board last night and after using it I put it to bed and this morning I turned it on and had good battery life with no low battery warning.I think this may have done the trick!
