I ordered some of these coils a while ago and they arrived now

Is it normal for them to be black ?

I'm also a bit confused with the title, is it Kanthal or is it Nichrome

Was just concerned about it being black in colour, it's exactly like the pic

The Title was very confusing as it had Kanthal and Nichrome in the title
