Hi Guys

I some how manged to bend my chimney for my Lemo, was struggling to take the 2 pieces apart.

Does anyone have a spare chimney that I could buy or know where I could get one. Its really difficult to wick nicely withpout being able to split the chimney pieces.

There a few methods for wicking.

You can wick ur coil, put the cotton ends on the deck with some liquid to saturate it and then screw on the chimney after. I prefer this method to splitting the chimney..

Thanks man, Im doing this now at the moment I just thought the chimney would be easier to use

How did you manage to bend your chimney? Hope someone has a spare for you. Did you try bending it straight again so long?

I was struggling to seperate the 2 chimney pieces so I gripped it with 2 long nose pliers and well the bottom bent. Its a pain trying to screw the chimney back on after rebuilding or rewicking

In future don't use pliers ... Use rubber bands as a grip. I also learnt the hard way with a pliers.

If you don't have any rubberbands then twist it out with your teeth worst case scenario is some surface scratches.

I tried, nearly broke a tooth. will try the rubber bands or just use better tooth paste

I definitely can't use my teeth. Half of my one tooth is chipped and replaced with a filling. I'm sure that will break off very easily.

my evod used to get stuck alot and refused to separate from the spinner battery. so i would give it a bit of a nudge by grabbing onto the bottom with my teeth and it would separate easily. once the gf took the spinner and the evod to replace her twisp she asked me what are those small little tool marks on the edge. she landed up getting water paper and polishing it out.

Actually, the Lemo is one of those devices where the more pressure you apply for unscrewing, the less likely you are to succeed. When it does not want to turn, take a breath and do it very gently (using paper towels to get a proper grip)...almost like magic then it just turns so easily. This has caught me out a couple of times :D
