You can look on the classifieds for good deals or alternatively there are many great starter kits around at good prices.

For someone looking to stop and get off cigs have a look at the subvod.
When i quit it was between this mod and the istick tc40w kit.

But vape shops dont stock the istick anymore.
Both had really nice tight draws.

I don't know how much you willing to spend but most of the time what helps smokers is a pure mouth to lung setup as it mimics a cigarette draw, a nice small setup I recently got my mom to help her quit cigarettes, Vape Cartel has the artery nugget mod for only R400, it has a built-in 1000mah hour battery and goes up to 50w and it's ultra tiny, and an Aspire Nautilus X tank from Vape Shop for R600 it comes with 2 coils, it's high resistance coils each 1.5ohm so the nugget is perfect as you'll only be running it at 15-20w so the battery will last you a good long time, replacement coils for the Aspire Nautilus X are R70 each at Vape Shop and you can get a Mr Doughnut Variety box of 6 15ml bottles of different doughnut flavors for R480 at Vaperite. That's a fantastic cigarette like kit for R1480 or if you don't mind an airy draw the iJust S kit is great too, simple to use, single button design and it's only around R650

I would suggest rather going for a nice strong menthol juice or tobaco juice.
I battled for a few days because of the wrong juice choice.

I picked up a nice menthol and day 4 and it was smooth sailing from there.

I would suggest stay away from sweet flavours or get a sweet flavour but also a menthol or tobaco juice.

O yes and stay away from the vape shop they just f#%king rip offs.
I bought a cubis tank from them when i started vaping (i didnt know any better) for R600 and all the other shops sold them for R400

I quit smoking using an iStick and a Melo tank. The iStick Pico and Melo 3 are light years ahead of that kit, and still one of the best priced starter kits around. Does everything from MTL to direct lung hits takes you a far way on your vaping journey and is very pocket friendly feels like a pack of smokes.
