MTL RDA's

Hi guys

Hoping someone can advise their "experience" on using the Galaxies Vapefly mtl RDTA and the Berserker mini RDA

Any opinions and/or raves about which one they prefer with regards to flavour and tightness of the draw etc

Personally I have used both , below my thoughts :

Galaxies
Squonkable RDTA is a win
Flavour 8/10 (found it muted at times but suspect due to cotton wear it drops in flavour quickly)
LOTS of airflow options from a restricted DL to full MTL
Coil positioning is key to flavour (2.5mm ID) , found coil halfway above posts a good spot

Berserker RDA
Also Sqounk ready
Lots of airflow options from restricted DL to MTL , 2mm-2.5mm coil ID max IMO
16mm RDA so not necessarily for everyone , but smaller chamber = oodles of flavour
Found building it a bit of a pain due to the constrained space but if you get it right whoa!
Flavour 9/10 , Took me a few builds to get it right but once you get it right the flavour is great

Only have the vapefly rda and rdta. Looked at beserker but the 16mm put me off a bit.

So the two I have are much the same rda/rdta.
Rda maybe a bit better flavour, but not really noticeble.
Both build and wick as easy as pie
If you just use mtl you only going to use bottom airhole, so then great flavour, for retricted dl ypu will have to open the side airhole screws that can mute flavour if you open them to big. What I do is open just one side air hole screw, so the other side still only comes from bottom airflow, then still great flavour.
No leaks on either of them,
Rda has good juice well
Rdta just gives so much more options, no over squonking, extra 2ml. And the easy top fill just makes it so quick and easy to quickly refill 2ml when you in a hurry and dont have time to refill the squonk bottle

I haven’t tried the galaxies so I can’t comment. But I have used the Berserker for a while and it’s a fantastic Mtl Rda. I don’t think you will be disappointed if you go with the Berserker.

I tried them both. Did not like the Beserker at all. Oversquonking and ugly. Flavour ok as far as I can remember.

Galaxies has become my go to atomizer on my Pulse 80Ws. Easy to build - I use 2.5 mm plain contact coils, right on top of the air hole. Squonking made easy - less squonking with the 2ml tank, no more guessing when to squonk and no oversquonking. Flavour is great. I do find, as @Jean claude Vaaldamme says above, that opening up the side screw air flows tends to mute flavour a bit. Will have to try his trick of just opening one. Been using the Galaxies for almost a year now.

Honestly, what I do is I purchase a regular RDA, stick the 510 adaptor in and a skinny 510 tip and away I go...
