Ni80 Wire.

Good day. Any of you guys build with this wire, wattage mode? I see some guys on the ECF forums build on their OL16 Atty's because of the quick heating time. Any safety issues regarding mech's and regulated mods?

Interesting history. When I started vaping the choice was Kanthal or Ni80, but many experienced a metal taste with Ni80 and it went out of fashion. I tried it at the time and did not like it.

See it is making a comeback nowadays. Especially for bigger builds - for the quicker heat up time as you point out @Petrus.

It does contain 80% Nickel, so anyone with Ni sensitivities or uncertainties should stay away.

As far as I know it is not very usable for TC because the temperature curve is unpredictable.

I only us N80 and if i can find N90 Nicrome wire! The flavour is superb and i love how quick it heats up! I am also a fan of SS316L
