No contact between atty and 510

Hi guys

Remember seeing something about this a while back. but could find it in the quick search through the forum.

mate has a 20w iStick and a subtank nano. works at times but loses contact at others. whats the fix for this?

Try picking the pin up on the mod and/or down on the atty. Worked for me for a while with some atties on my MVP that didn't contact properly until now when the wire to the 510 pin snapped inside the device.

Is the pin on the 20w adjustable or does it not matter

The pin on the 20w iStick is not adjustable @Jakey. Try pulling it up slightly with a pair of tweezers. I have a mate that had the same issue. it's a quick fix.

You can also get a small o ring and wedge it around the pin on the 20w

This is a known issue with the iStick 20W (which they fixed with the 30W+50W).

There is a more permanent fix.

• As the others have mentioned, first, lift the 510 (using tweezers, or a thin flat head screwdriver - wiggle it upwards from opposing sides).
  
• Next, take a small o-ring - it should be slightly smaller than the top of the 510 pin - and stretch it over the top of the 510. Once it is over the 510 it should keep it from pushing back down.
