The Pharaoh Mini RTA is the successor of the Pharaoh RTA which is designed by Rip Trippers and manufactured by Digiflavor in an effort to create the ultimate RTA that offers ease of use and excellent flavour. The Pharaoh Mini is an extremely versatile RTA that offers many great options. Although smaller, it seems to be far more superior to its predecessor in many ways. Don't let the 'Mini' fool you! This RTA can easily be converted to a 5ml RTA using the expansion tubes.

The Pharaoh Mini features many new improvements and additions to the original Pharaoh RTA. The Pharaoh Mini has been designed to give excellent flavor whilst being extremely simple to build and wick. For those of you who know the Pharaoh RTA, you would also know that wicking it is not as simple as just tucking your wicks in the wick ports. The Pharaoh Mini, according to RiP Trippers is what the OG Pharaoh RTA should've been.

Despite its name, the Pharaoh Mini is not such a ‘Mini’ tank. It’s quite a tall RTA and when converted to its 5ml capacity, it is far from Mini! This RTA comes with a lot of accessories included. Digiflavor provide 2 extra drip tips in the box and a lot of spares. The Drip Tip that comes pre-installed is called the ‘Rip Tip’ which is a ‘Donut’ styled drip tip. This Rip Tip, although quite big, is extremely comfortable to use and is probably one of the most comfortable drip tips I have ever seen on an RTA. Just below the top cap which seats the drip tip, is the top fill chimney which has 3 massive filling ports. You will not have any issues refilling this RTA even if you're using a dropper.

The Pharaoh Mini can easily be converted to a 5ml capacity tank by changing the 2ml glass to the 5ml one and installing the chimney extender. The chamber lock key will be required to unscrew the lock and use the chimney extender. When attaching the chimney extender, be sure to screw on the chamber lock. The chamber lock holds the top-fill chimney which prevents the glass from unscrewing when unscrewing the top cap to refill the tank.

The airflow adjustment ring on this RTA is extremely well thought of. Unlike most RTA’s, the Pharaoh Mini’s airflow ring clicks at 5 points when closing the airflow which act as presets and makes it much more easier to go back to your preferred airflow setting. The airflow is also really smooth all across the board.

I’m not sure why this tank does have juice flow control. Majority of the new tanks do not come with this feature as it is not needed. I can only assume that it was put in place as a further measure to prevent leaking. The juice flow is not the easiest to open and close. You would have to remove the tank from your mod and then open or close it by turning the airflow clockwise or anti-clockwise. It does require some force but it isn’t too difficult.

The clamp-style build deck is back, and it’s now configured for single coil setups. The Pharaoh Mini sports a spring loaded T-bone clamp build deck which makes it easy to work with when installing coils. The deck is interchangeable; a new deck is set to release for the Pharaoh Mini that will cater for those who prefer dual coils.

Personally I love the Pharaoh Mini and tend to use it more than my other tanks. It produces great flavor, building and wicking it is a breeze and it offers the perfect amount of airflow. If you’re looking for a single coil RTA that produces good flavor and is a breeze to build and wick, I would suggest trying the Pharaoh Mini RTA.

I got mine from Cigabuy along with my Goon 1.5 at a steal! Shipping using Aramex Global took about 1.5-2 weeks which is pretty quick.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks @daniel craig !
The 5ml appeals to me
Any leaking from your experience with it?

Great review, I've been looking into rebuildable tanks recently, and with a review like that, this one will definitely get more investigation from me

The jai haze review on this tank is hectic! He starts off by being fairly middle road in terms of quality, design, etc... But the ending is crazy! He berates the crap outta the RTA because of the juice flow control design.

Have you had similar issues?

Awesome reveiw @daniel craig !

Amazing photos too!

I really like the look of this tank, and this review makes me want one even more. I love tanks that have the "clicky" airflow control, it means I can change it without having to find my glasses. :nerd:

To be honest, I prefer the 2ml capacity and it doesn't really bother me because of how easy it is to refill without a mess.

The chimney lock makes sure that when you open the top fill or remove the base, the glass won't move. I know with some tanks when I used to over tighten, the glass used to move with the base or the top fill. The 5ml extention also makes the tank look really big. Even in the 2ml mode, it is still a big tank in terms of height.

I have not gotten even a single drop of leaking as yet. From the day I got it, I've always had my wicking right but I do think leaking is possible if you use too less cotton. As long as the wicking ports are just more than halfway packed with cotton, you will not get any spit back or gurgling.

With filling the wicking port and packing it with cotton, I did get dry hits when taking draws longer than about 2.5-3 seconds. This meant that I used too much cotton. When filling the wicking ports halfway or more, I had no dry hits even when using it at 50w.

Thanks @daniel craig
Very informative answer, much appreciated!

This RTA is definitely a great choice. In my opinion it's better than the Serpent SMM. The RTA that competes with this is the Zeus by Geekvape. It's a top airflow RTA so I gave it a skip. I prefer the flavor of bottom airflow RTA's by far.

I did watch his review. He got a faulty RTA because the juice flow control on mine is nothing like that at all. Mine works very well and I've never had an issue opening and closing it. One thing to not is that there is a restriction when opening or closing so you need to use a slight bit of force when doing so which is why I recommend removing it from the mod and then adjusting the juice flow control.

If you adjust this whilst the RTA is on the mod, the tank gets stuck on the mod.

I think this is the one I want.
I will post a pic of it in 5ml mode sometime today. At 5ml capacity, this thing isn't Mini at all. It's taller than most other single coil RTAs. The flavor off it is much better. The build I have in mine is an alien which works really well.

The max wattage I pushed on this RTA is 50w. I normally use much less than 50w but I pushed wattage to check how it keeps up with wicking and it did a great job.

Testing it out using different builds at different resistance, I found it to be best at around 40w+ so I would suggest a build with a good amount of surface area. Flavor wise, it beats all of my current single coil RTA's (Merlin Mini, Serpent SMM, Engine Nano, Serpent 25, etc).

I wish all RTA's had that clicky airflow control and the chamber lock so the glass doesn't move around when you tightening or removing the deck or the top fill.

@veecee If my Juice flow control was anything like what Jai's one was like, this RTA would've been in the bin
Yeah man! And he got all hectic hey?! Thx for your review, cos based n the jai one I was going to give it a skip.

You won't be having any issues like what Jai had. Are you planning to use it in 2ml mode or 5ml mode?
