Ok I understand the basics that a potentiometer change the volts and thus give you defferent watts on a mod. But can there be a big difference between one potentiometer and another?
Why Im asking. Not so much on the forum, but more on facebook I see that Hex ohm has a huge following. But I see a Hex ohm cost about R2500 where you can buy a Noisy cricket or Moonbox for about R500. So why the huge difference in price?
Does it have any other features? Because it seems mass produced and not a limited HE type mod that commands the high price

hex ohm is milled out of a solid block of aluminium that's why

Thanks, yes that can explain the cost
Lifetime "no bullkak guarantee". If you mess juice in the board by being retarded the warranty will ensure you have a working mod after a claim.
E.g. I had a issue with one of my hex ohms, board was replaced in 5 mins from the reputable vendor that I bought from. Sure you can buy 4x ncv2 mods but my 2nd hex ohm has been my desk mod for longer than i can remember without a days issue.

I have both and to be honest used the nc2 more as it is more pocketable.
hex, Italian engine in an American muscle car.
nc2, American engine in an Italian body.

just my take on it.

Yes I saw the lifetime guarantee, thought it not worth it in SA if you have to pay postage to USA to fix. But if local vendors honour the warrantee, then the price make sense
