Hi, does anyone know what the exact size of the air hole on the Hornet RDA is? I prefer the 1mm hole on the standard Cyclone, but looking for an extra.

Perhaps skipper Fisher will know
@Rob Fisher , didnt you have a hornet? Or am i getting confused with something else.

PS - @Viper_SA - lovely to see the "traditional avatar" back in action ;-)

I can't tell you exactly but the smallest diameter drill bit I have is 1.3mm and its way too big to fit the air hole in a hornet.

Just made payment on the Hornet, thanks for the replies ;)

Why does the hornet look so similar to the cyclone base?

Can't say that I like my Hornet as much as I should that was bought new for the OG Mini Reo... because of the stock air intake being a pinhole (by my standards as a DLH vaper that likes big holes). Yeah I could bore it out big enough to drive a 1956 Edsel into, but. I searched high and low for an authentic BF Hornet as about the only atty that would fit in the carto based OG Mini's well (I hate cartos). Finally found and bought what may have been the last new authentic BF Hornet anywhere. So I have not really modded what now is a rare dedicated tootle atty that would never be able to go back to one if I did. I did ever so slightly open up the hole with my smallest burr, but that's as far as I went so it's still a tootle puffer. Means to DLH it at all I have to slipstream it, and give up a lot of flavor. So I never use this beautiful blue anodized Feb 2011 run Reo that is still pristine. I run Mini 1.0 Reos and 14500 Woodvil's instead when I want to run a small Reo.

I also have what I assume is a clone Hornet RDA (not BF) that somebody gave me and I used on a GP Piccolo sometimes to test try new liquids. I opened it up much bigger and it delivers for DLH's well. So one day maybe I'll bite the bullet and open up this BF Hornet to get the OG Mini back in service.
