Guy walks into a vape shop... (self.electronic_cigarette)

Four weeks ago my husband had some time to kill while waiting for a haircut, and next to the hair place was a vape shop. He decided to go in, and ended up getting a nautilus mini, battery, some liquids... You know the drill. He called me on his way home and was like, "Don't be mad, but I just got some vape stuff. I want to be done smoking." He'd been a smoker for 16 years (8 for me). I wasn't mad, but I was thinking, "Great. Now we have an expensive toy that will just sit in a cupboard and never get used."
Well... In that four weeks we haven't had a cigarette at all since we made the switch. I loved the nautilus mini so much he gave it to me and went back the next day to get a subtank mini for himself. He's at 0mg of nic, I'm down to 6mg (I started at 24mg). That's all pretty exciting, but since we switched and let family and some friends try our gear:
•My MIL switched 3 weeks ago after 30+ years of smoking. She hasn't had a cig and is already vaping 0mg and loving it. •My stepdad switched 3 weeks ago after 40+ years of smoking. He says this is the longest he's ever gone without a cig since he started smoking when he was 9! He just went down to 18mg from 24. •My sister, her boyfriend, my best friend, and even my MIL's neighbor have all gone out and made the switch to vaping.
I'm not even kidding. There's only two smokers left in my life and I hope one day they decide to make the switch, too. Anyway- just wanted to put this out there because I'm so pumped about it. That random stop into a vape shop my husband made was one of the best things that happened for us.
Thanks for being an awesome community- just reading here has been a huge plus for learning tips and getting recommendations for mods, etc.
TL;DR: husband randomly walks into a vape shop 4 weeks ago and as a result now 8 former smokers are happily vaping.
