All I remember was that they cloned the standard profile version of the Reo so in order to fit wider atties, one would have to shave off some of the catch cup

To be honest, at the price it would be more of a novelty item. But I do enjoy some tinkering in the garage occasionally

Dont worry uncle @Rob Fisher its not a Reo Grand, its a Reo Grant

I could never find myself buying a clone mod never mind a clone mech mod...

There are other routes to get into squonking, if you want the pico squeeze is a great device to start off with and only sells for R500 with the rda @Polar

Then if you wanna move up from that get a paddy vapes leprechaun they go for R2000.

Now I know the Reo has contacts coated in kryptonite and the device exterior was fabricated by oxidising mermaid tears... Can't say I didn't expect a little beating here from the die hard fans and I might make some enemies here, but if you don't mind... Lets face some quick facts.

1. There is a market for clone devices for a reason.
2. There are very few "original ideas" everything else is a copy of a copy of a copy.
3. Competition has never been a bad thing, in fact, If the Reo is all its said to be a clone might just as well be made from butter.

So If any of you guys have recently driven a car, or used a phone, or brushed you're teeth (or clone teeth).... Well, I'm sure we get the point here.

Unswayed and head strong even if someone beats me up in traffic later...

Fasttech last year were selling these clones but because of bad quality issues they were discontinued after about 2 or 3 months.

Maybe it wont be a bad clone but one things for sure the Reo from Reosmods and this clone although they might look the same to the eye they are not the same brother.

You may discover that after a week when you have chipping paint, masive voltage drop so ramp up is crappy, 510 that come wonky from the box etc...

But it is your decision brother, so lets keep fingers crossed.
I guess if its crap you can always use it as a paper weight

@Polar you certainly haven't made any enemies here... my rage is not aimed at you at all... I guess I'm a lot closer to the issue than the average vaper because Rob at Reosmods is a personal friend of mine and I know what the cloning of the REO's did to him personally... my rage is directly aimed at the thieving bloody thieves in China. Yes most things are copies of copies... but in this case it's an attempt at a direct copy and no innovation or changes were attempted... it was plain and simple theft... and to rub salt into the wound anyone trying one of these pieces of crap will be put off REO's.

I was put off Kayfuns in the early days with a bad clone.

And am only starting to understand it now with more research i have done. After my experience in the beginning of 2014 I swore I would never use a kayfun again.

Such a pity because the Kayfun would have suited my style of vaping very well I think.

The Coppervape is pretty good. Although the Reo is mechanical and simple there's a lot of perfection in it that makes it work well and I doubt any clone will achieve that.

I wouldn't mind getting one to play with anyway. I would suggest holding off cos it will most likely appear on 3fvape or focalecig or one of those shortly, it's a safer bet than the Alibaba route imho.

If you are still keen though and are short of one to make the order PM me the final price and I would probably take one.
