Semi-broken mod - what to do?

I'm not sure if I can actually do anything.

I had a week old Sigelei 50w box. The 510 connector was a bit fiddly - I had to adjust the hell out of the pins to get a stable connection.

So I ended up forcing the 510 connector to low. Now I got it back from repairs and the 510 connector section is stuffed. I pretty much ruined the threads so attys won't stay properly.

BUT I noticed that by holding the atty in carefully that the board is actually fine. As long as the connection is stable, it works properly.

So is there anything I can do, like buy a new empty box and fit the board to it?

Or is it time for me to lick my wounds and bury it?

I'm sure you can re use that board if it's still fine. Getting the spares locally is a mission though.

I'm in two minds on what to do.

Screwing attys in and out, trying to get a connection, has had a butterfly effect, resulting in my gear's 510 threads damaged.

Right now, I'm grateful for the mighty MPT3 with ego thread and rebuildable EVOD coils . That is basically keeping me from crying like a baby right now

If the bord is fine why dont you just stick one of the adapters in there like the one's you get with the istick . I meen use some pratly steel and stick it in the 510 connector . @r0gue z0mbie

Well nothing stays in the 510 connector. Just tested it now again. If I willing to hold an atty in it works, but it isn't secure at all.

Oh wait, you mean actually sticking the connector in all together... Interesting.

Where do I get an adapter?
