So i decided to get myself one of the New Sigelei 213 Squonk mods, being a fan of the original 213 mod, this was a no Brainer for me.

I got mine from the Gents down @Sir Vape and as usual, the service i received was As good as ever, even after i made payment without changing my ref number, and a phonecall from @BigGuy later and all was sorted and i received my goodies the next day or so.

Anyways, over to the mod.

The construction is very similar to the original 213 apart from being a tad wider to accommodate the 21700 batteries, other than that, its a 213 in every way, so, if, like me, you wished your 213 could squonk, my guess is, you'd like this mod.

With my 20700 batteries still on Order, I'm currently running an 18650, with dual coils (0.16ohms) @ 80W, battery life is insanely low.. so, SXK Entheon, single Alien @ 0.38 ohms 40W, turned into my happy place for squonking.

The RDA that comes in the kit, is not a bad RDA at all, its a plain old Velocity deck, so easy to build for the newbie, easy to wick, and it works surprisingly well for a "starter kit", but its not my Recoil Rebel, so it had to go. Also, airflow is non adjustable.

The bottle it comes with is a nice soft squishy silicone bottle, so i don't see the need to upgrade the bottle as with so many other squonk mods out there.
The bottle has a 5ml capacity, currently on the single coil setup, it lasts a good while.
Refilling is nice and easy, the neck of the bottle is wide enough to where even a glass dripper fits easily, with room for air to escape.
It also has a wide metal ring, so even our big fingered mates can grip the neck and screw on the cap without squeezing juice out of the bottle.

i will edit the post After the 8th Jan, when i receive my squonk kit for the rebel, along with some 20700 batts to power it.
holding thumbs that it'll vape just as well as my Sig213.

if you also own one, let me hear your thoughts.

Thanks for that @GerritVisagie
Much appreciated

How easy or difficult is it to refill the bottle?
And whats the bottle capacity?

Thanx @Silver, post edited.
WOW I haven't posted a review in a while, some practice is required again.
The forgetfulness is strong with this one.

Thank you for the review @GerritVisagie.
To refill, does one have to pull off the tube from the nipple, take the whole assembly out and then unscrew the cap?

Yes, the bottle just pops out, and when you reinsert, the Lil tube has to be "plugged in" to the Lil "pie-pie"
again.
The usual ritual.
I am looking forward to getting one of those geekvape flasks though

Nice Review! @GerritVisagie yes a no Brainer i agree. Don't personally have or used the original mod or squonk version but i think just changing existing regulated devices into squonk versions is the way to go. If people liked the original device there should be no difference apart from the squonk version squonks.

So, i came across a little issue with the mod.
This guy does not have a SPRING loaded 510, well kinda, see the "spring" is actually only the plastic tube that connects the 510 pin to the bottle, hard to explain so .. see the pics, first one is od the 510 all the way up, second is compressed a bit too far, so it gets stuck.

Anyways, the issue is that it compresses down, and then won't pop back out all the way, so you get the "Check Atomizer" issue, it seems what happens is because theres no spring, when you use an atty with a long 510 pin, it pushes the pin in the mod down, and the poor tube can't push it back up far enough to make contact with shorter 510nd atties,
the fix is simple though, just turn it upside down, and bump it on your hand so the pin settles into place again, if that doesn't work, you'll need to tug on the pin with your needle tweezers, and if not, take the mod apart, and just push it back into place with your tweezers.

this is not a big issue for me, coz i don't swop attys very often, but if you do, it could turn into a pain.
Also, i don't know if anyone else will even notice this, it happened to me simply because the SXK Entheon's 510 is shorter Than it should be..looks like.
in the pic The gold Atty is my Recoil Rebel.

@GerritVisagie Thanks for the really good feedback on this mod. It’s so cool to read some information on an item that is part of the Squonk craze that grabbed me by the short and curleys.

Great review, device looks good! Is the board exposed behind the squonk bottle? That’s how it looks in the pic, do you know if its a liquid resistant board?

I don't know if it's liquid resistant, it does seem to have a shiny coating on it.
Ie. Motherboards are "Matt" ish.
This looks shiny.

And yeah, that blue is the board.

So, update Time.

I got me some Ijoy 20100 batts, (5leg) thanx @Throat Punch ,
no with these batts, the device really shines, fires up to 150w (not for long though), but at 80w goes about till lunch time.
I also picked up the squonk kit for the Recoil Rebel, and paired the two, damn, I'm loving the vape life!

so comes the 5 day mark, and the vape life is awesome until.... dum dum duuuum.... i grab my mod, and there it is, juice, all over my grabbing tools.
it seems to be a bit of spillage from filling the bottle, right at the bottom of the little bottle door thingy, so, i pop the little "bottle door" off, and wipe the juice out of the bottle chamber.
two squonks later, and there it is again.
clean it again, but alas, this was the rest of my day at work, wiping juice off everything, at some point, it even seeped through to the battery door, this, i noticed when i picked the mod up to go outside, and the thing stuck to the table, sure enough, the mod is standing in a pool of juice.

at home, i disassembled everything again, and i found the issue, that stupid 510 connection.
when the atty pushes the pin down, it opens a gap between the positive, and insulator to the negative, and the juice just seeps through there and eventually down the board, right to the bottom of the mod.

So, now, the device is benched until i can find some way to seal the sucky-pin.

Anyone out there with one of these, please let me know if you have the same issue, maybe, i got a "Monday mod".
@KZOR, i know you have one brother, let me know.
