Splitting subtank mini base...

Ive been trying to split my subbie base and cannot get it unscrewed...
Anyone know if its been stuck with loctite or something, and how did u get urs apart if u managed to do it?

I think there may be some loctite in there, you need lots of grip. Let the base soak in hot water for a few minutes, dry it off and wrap a rubber band around each section of the base, that should give you enough grip. Just be very careful not to lose the tiny little ball bearing and spring when you eventually get it loose.

@BumbleBee is correct it is "loctited" whether it will come apart depends on which loctite they have used and how much.
I have tried in vain to take one of mine apart.

Ive tried this.... will not come loose, I will try again and hopefully it will come loose
